As of sept 5 2018 there is a specification for energy star certified storm windows. The credit is worth 10 of the cost of the windows. The american recovery and reinvestment act of 2009 has introduced new tax credits for 30 percent of the total cost of new energy efficient storm doors with a maximum eligible amount of 1 500. 10 percent of the cost up to 200 for windows and skylights and up to 500 for doors.
