So now maybe if someone else is having the same problem you can get helped by my post. You can t attach a floor to a foundation. Last edited by eagle eye. A foundation is the ground floor.

Bricks can be crafted but it will take players a long time to get to that point. To place a roof it is required to have a wall to attach it to. Unfortunately my voice isn t the best i suffer from a throat and nose problem so it s a bit naselly ee 11. I can t seem to place a floor on my foundation.

When you try to break the floor with the shelf on it you won t be able to because it supports other structures. Steel must be found washed up on shore or within shipwrecks and are not particularly common in the world. A floor can be a floor for a multi story building or a flat roof. Steel or bricks are by far the best options for creating a floor in stranded deep but neither are particularly easy to acquire.
