The open door is a drop in centre providing services to homeless and low income people in downtown montreal. The open door centre. In 1993 we opened the st albans night shelter and led the development of the open door accommodation and drop in centre in bricket road. We work with other local charities and services to assist people at risk of homelessness.

At the open door centre we make support available with regards to depression and anxiety in a way which is friendly laid back informal and the antitheses of the traditional medical clinical gp waiting. The trustees are absolutely delighted to announce that the open door centre café is now open. We continue to make grants to improve the facilities. The charity currently funds two support roles based at open door.

We provide free immediate creative therapeutic support through our mentor led cbt programme bazaar in relation to feeling down stressed anxious or experiencing panic. The open door centre exists to make a positive difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities enabling our members to achieve their highest potential. We do this by providing a range of activities within a safe supportive and non judgemental environment and members are involved in every level of decision making about the running of the centre. We work on a membership format.

Open door centre exists to empower young people to make critical life decisions. The centre provides its clients with the information resources advocacy emotional physical and spiritual support they need. The open door centre provides bespoke mental health support for people aged 15 to 30 who are dealing with panic attacks stress and low mood. Tuesday to friday inclusive for the time being.

Primarily young people but with no age limits and open to all ages. Supporting young people and young adults ages 15 30. The centre provides food and clothing laundry services shelter during the day counselling referrals to professional mental health and drug addiction counsellors and employment assistance. All our services are free and confidential.
